Re: post pop depression

I liked it. With Iggy's solo stuff I tend to like albums that everyone else ignores. It's refreshing to see that everyone seems to appreciate this one and my tastes align with the masses.

Also I would have killed to see this tour even more than the Stooges reunion

Re: post pop depression

Thanks for the info guys. Ive never actually listened to Queens, but have been a Stooges/iggy fan for years!

Queens of the Stone Age is actually a pretty good band for the psychedelic/stoner rock genre. At least their older stuff was. I haven't listened to them in several years but they had a few mainstream hits about a decade ago, and still get airplay

These are the two songs that blew them up a while back, like 2002 or 03 or so, you may have heard them and just not known who it was. Go With The Flow is the song I first heard of theirs that I liked, and I liked it. No One Knows had Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters/Nirvana go back to his roots as a drummer in the video. If I recall right, he was the drummer for the whole album but just the recording of it. They had/have that funky metal/alternative/garage sound, that reminds me of a cousin of System of a Down.

Yeah that was one of the last videos that blew up from MTV back when MTV still showed videos and YouTube didnt exist yet.
