yep slow as hell

Re: Site sluggish for anyone else?

Yeah it goes slow for me too always just figured it's because i usually check in as soon as i boot my computer up. Other than that the only problem I've ever had with the site was security question one of who sings for the d.k. as I've typed in every member and still get denied all the time and won't bother trying to answer it seriously anymore. (My new answers include "fuck" "Ernest P Worrell" "cock fuck" and everybody's favorite "asdbncjkyyo8yo8ylkugh9ly,hlhl")

Re: Site sluggish for anyone else?

Not to play the jump to conclusions game but it could have something to do with the attack on Dyn DNS that has been happening all day today. This took down twatter, amongst a lot of other sites.

https://www.rt.com/usa/363705-third-ddo … -internet/

Some are pointing to a tweet by Wikileaks:

Mr. Assange is still alive and WikiLeaks is still publishing. We ask supporters to stop taking down the US internet. You proved your point.

This has led to pepes surmising that the Wiki twitter account has been compromised for some time because of seemingly out of place tweets for the past couple of days starting after the Ecuadorian embassy severed Assange's internet connection and the sightings of heavily armed police outside the embassy. The DDOS would also be counter to the planned Operation Hotpockets attempt to allow Assange to reconnect from within the embassy. But taking down Twitter the US would perhaps block Assange's deadman's switch from releasing the keys to the insurance files distributed via torrents earliy last week.

There was also a short lived thread when keys were released but is still unconfirmed: http://archive.is/pMEmC#selection-2705.0-2721.47

If anyone downloaded any of the three insurance file (4 gig, 97 gig, 325 gig) feel free to try and unlock them. Careful not to suicide yourself.

There is also some fuckery going on in this thread: http://archive.is/szvfb . Disbelieve anything a chan says until you confirm it yourself.

Of course, this could be POS shitting itself again. tongue

But serious things are afoot. I'm going back to my tinfoil cave.

Re: Site sluggish for anyone else?

The site was sluggish here as well, seemed to load about 40 seconds for embedded content from radiotuna.com.
As soon as I put that address in my host-files (a redirect to 127.0.0.1) all is fine again smile

Re: Site sluggish for anyone else?

For me it is the radiotuna add on usually, and even though I advocated for it in the beginning, it has become a resource hog on this crappy Board. I think it should be removed as long as we are on this shit crap ass software

Re: Site sluggish for anyone else?

I'm not around here as much as I use to be, no real reason aside from me being lazy, so I haven't noticed if it has been slow.
